French activist Yohan Pawer states he faces potential imprisonment of up to one year and a 45,000 euro fine after denouncing what he describes as the sexualization of children during a drag-themed event in Nice.
Pawer, founder of the collective Eros, claims his activism began in 2024 following an alleged infiltration of a drag queens’ club where, according to him, “drag queens read stories to five-year-old children in schools.”
“I set up a hidden camera,” he explained. “And at the time, it caused massive attention across France.”
Pawer asserts this controversy exposed a political reality many refuse to acknowledge: “Many people believe that being homosexual means you are left-wing. No—there are also right-wing homosexuals.”
This experience led him to establish Eros, a group of homosexuals opposed to left-wing LGBT activism.
“That’s where Eros was born,” he stated.
Currently, Pawer claims he is under investigation after denouncing a “drag queen picnic” allegedly promoted to children as young as five years old. He alleges organizers used adult sexual language and featured “stands with pornographic books,” while “children ran right next to them.”
“For denouncing this, I risk one year in prison and 45,000 euros in fines,” he declared. “This is extremely serious.”
According to Pawer, the complaint was filed by Nice Family Planning and a local LGBT group for alleged defamation and public insult. He insists: “We have all the evidence.”
“What I denounce is that children’s world must remain children’s world,” Pawer emphasized. “Why do adults enter children’s worlds?”
He claims France is being engulfed by “wokeism,” adding that “the government is complicit” and “turns a blind eye.”
Pawer stated he intends to fight this issue relentlessly: “It is absolutely impossible for me to be silent. I will fight until the end.”
